Microdermabrasion (often referred to as Microderm) is a cosmetic procedure popular in day spas, doctors’ practices, and medical spas in which the dead skin cell is partially or completely removed by light abrasion.
Microdermabrasion is effective at improving and reducing fine lines, age spots or brown spots, and other superficial skin blemishes. The treatment can also be helpful with oily and enlarged pores, blackheads, and some acne scarring. In addition, microdermabrasion stimulates the creation of collagen and cell turnover. In both crystals and diamond microdermabrasion systems the dead skin cells are sucked away from the face.
3. Home Microdermabrasion Home microdermabrasion systems are an increasingly popular alternative to professional treatments. These are cheap and very easy to perform, and although not as powerful as professional systems, can produce good results over time. There is a great deal of competition in the home microdermabrasion systems market with most of the big cosmetics and skin care brands launching their own home systems. Home microdermabrasion creams with active ingredients, are focused on skin renewal and accelerate rebuilding of healthy collagen skin cells after microdermabrasion, laser resurfacing or harsh peels.

(1) Dr. Jart+ Acne-X Spot Out
This is a blemish spot treatment gel. It helps to maintain biological balance, prevents skin aging, cures and makes skin soft owing to its dermatitis treatment effectiveness. It is specially researched for the red and irritated troubles helping to calm the blemish troubles. Natural botanical ingredients work against troubled areas directly. It controls and calms sebum, the main cause of the trouble, making the skin clean.
My review: So far this is the best acne gel that I’m satisfied with (except its price :D). The design is quite unique, just like the correction pen…very convenient. When you apply the gel on the acne, it does not cause any reddish or sting. It causes the acne to dry out naturally, no obvious skin peeling around the pimple. Unlike the acne gel that I bought from Guardian and beauty saloon, this product is much better…I like it but it is quite pricey.
How to use: Cleanse skin and apply a thin layer to affected area one to three times daily or as needed.
(2) Extra Gentle Black Coal Cleansing Mineral Soap
This mild and effective soap thoroughly removes impurities without stripping moisture from the skin. It soothes the skin with tea tree oil and calming botanical extracts including charcoal, white clay and rice bran.
My review: This soap is quite mild…sometimes I wash my face three times a day and it does not cause any dryness on the skin. It got a nice scent – ginseng scent.
How to use: Wet palms and work the soap into a lather, and buff over the face and neck in a circular motion. Rinse well with warm water.

Acne Problem
髮际痘
狀況~因為卸妝沒卸乾淨，造成毛孔堵塞和污染，容易在較悶的髮際或眉間形成細小痘痘。
改善~加強卸妝和清潔的工作，一定要徹底搓揉乾净。
额头痘
狀況~有可能是壓力太大，容易脾氣不好，造成心火和血液循環有問題。
改善~應養成早睡早起的習慣，讓睡眠充足，並多喝水。
印堂痘
狀況~出現在兩眉正中間的痘痘，通常有胸悶、心率不整、心悸等毛病。
改善~不要嘗試太過激烈的運動，要避免煙、酒等刺激性的食品。
眼头痘
狀況~靠近鼻子和眼頭區域的痘痘，通常是肝機能不好所引起。
改善~生活作息要正常，避免熬夜，盡量在11點前上床睡覺。
鼻头痘
狀況~可能是胃火過大，消化系統異常。
改善~少吃冰冷食物，寒性食物易引起胃酸分泌，造成胃火過大。
鼻翼痘
狀況~突然冒出的腫大痘痘，可能跟卵巢機能或生殖系統有關。
改善~不要過度縱慾或禁慾，盡量走出戶外，享受健康的自然環境。
左边脸颊痘

BB cream
BB cream, the most hit and top selling cosmetic product in Korea since last year. I started to know about this product when I came across the advertisement in the local newspaper. Curious about the product, I googled about it and found a lot of good comments from the users. Briefly introduce it — B.B Cream (stands for Blemish Balm) is originally used on patients who underwent laser skin treatment. Its mild solution helps to protect and regenerate delicate skin. It becomes very popular after the Korea actresses use it and promote it due to its superb result. It is said to be the secret of nude makeup of Korea actresses, natural makeup and yet the skin looks so beautiful.
It claims to be 4-in-1: moisturizer + concealer + sunscreen + base. Some of the BB cream claimed to have 10 functions (maybe a little bit exaggerate :D). It could cover imperfections like medium pores, reddish, can even your skin colour, won’t look too pale or dull. Some of the BB cream got UVA/UVB protection e.g. SPF 25/PA++. Some of them can smooth the wrinkle and fine lines. So each BB cream got different functions, therefore you need to read through the information so that can get BB cream that suits your skin.
There are many beauty brands in Korea that have developed BB cream and made it more suitable for Asian skin. Among the most popular one are Dr Jart, Skin79, BRTC and Hanskin （四大天王 – some blogs described like that）. Other brands include The Skinfood, The Face Shop, Missha, Etude, Dodo Club etc. At the moment, we can get Skin79 and The Skinfood locally (Sarawak). I will write more about Skin79 BB cream in details in the next article since it is quite hot now here…I called the dealer in Kuching and he claimed that a lot people buying from him.
Quite a lot of forums in Malaysia, SIngapore, HK, Taiwan and even US that discussed about BB cream (Of course, in Korea too but I dont understand Korean language) . Most of the users gave good comments about this product – whitening, improve skin texture, look natural etc. It is recommended to clean the face properly (use make-up remover) because BB cream is not a skincare product, so must be cleansed before you sleep.
